It seems like things are going much faster this time around. Although yesterday and this morning, I was dealing with one hell of a headache. It's finally subsided after copious amounts of ibuprofen (which wasn't working) and Aleve. I suspect it was more of a caffeine withdrawal more than anything. After I had two or three cups of black tea that steeped for a very long time, it's gone away.

I could/should have been down more this morning, but I was attacking chocolate once I got home yesterday and had probably 8 or 9 Cadbury Mini-eggs and half a stick of a Kit-Kat. Though I'm not complaining about 7 pounds since Friday. :)
I've also been eating steak as the protein this time. Last time I thought it had hindered me a bit, but I've found lean cuts of meat and have clearly been having a success at that. I'm just not up for the chicken quite yet. Dry chicken. At least I can cook the steak in a pan, and then throw in some water to help deglaze the pan and keep the steak moist.
Temptation hit me kind of hard yesterday when Isaac and I went to a restaurant and he ordered some calamari. I picked at two pieces and took off the breading that was on it while he devoured the whole thing. There were some things I would have loved to have ordered, but hey... I didn't spend any money eating out!! There's a good way to think about it, eh?
